Description

You know what blood is; it's that red stuff that oozes out if you get a cut or any open wound really. Our blood helps us stay healthy and it’s the body’s defense against infections, while these two don’t fight infections they do have the ability to use their own blood as a weapon;

Crona, the Demon Sword Meister

Vs

Carnage, the Red Symbiote Son of Venom

But put them together in a battle to the death... who will be victorious?

Battle of the Bloods!

 Crona- Meister and the biological child of Medusa Gorgon. Not much is known about Crona's past, like at all. When Crona was young, Medusa implanted Black Blood into her child in hopes of turning Crona into a Kishin; a Demon God. When the Black Blood was implanted Crona’s weapon partner Ragnarok came to life and the two were forced to be partners since they now share the same body.  Crona was then forced to learn to kill and collect human souls under Medusa’s orders and was suffered and abused from both the likes of their mother and weapon partner. While under Medusa's control, Crona becomes dangerously unstable, showing signs of insanity and aggression as well spouting senseless comments and laughing at random moments. Crona is a very naive and submissive person, also incredibly nervous and jumpy, the slightest thing can frighten Crona. Because of Crona’s childhood, Crona's lack of interaction with others and has no experience in interacting with other people, hence Crona's famous catchphrase, "I don't know how to deal with...". Crona cannot adapt to new situations and can panic easily, and finds it difficult to make decisions. However after befriending Maka, Crona gains some confidence and starts to understand the differences between good and evil. Crona’s weapon partner Ragnarok on the other hand is loud-mouthed, rude and confident. Ragnarok believes he and his meister are capable of overcoming any opponent they encounter regardless of how good or bad they actually are at fighting. Ragnarok is violent and is easily angered, especially around Maka. Ragnarok loves to degrade and pester Crona (even during fights) by giving them noogies, pinching their nose, hitting them on the head, or taking their food. Despite his behavior he does worry about Crona's health and will try to help them by stopping their bleeding wounds but will demand a thank you afterwards. Becuase Ragnarok was melted into a pot of black blood and replace Crona's blood, both Crona and Ragnarok have a inseparable bond within each other, practically symbiotic, and Crona is able to use Ragnarok in battle. Ragnarok also can assist Crona by hardening blood to stop the bleeding or protect Crona by hardening their blood against physical attacks. Crona’s durability is much above that of a human, even when Maka punched Crona with her bare hands she describes it like as if she’s punching lead. Crona has managed to stop her attacks simply by using their bare hands and even blocked the Witch-Hunt; one of Maka and Soul’s best attacks.  Crona’s strength is also enhanced due to the Black Blood, strong enough to overpower Black Star who is one of the DWMA’s strongest students. Even though Ragnarok is fully part of Crona's body they can separate, but only in the weapon/meister combination. Ragnarok transform into a black long sword which Crona is very skilled with. Crona possess an unorthodox fighting style often uses erratic movements as well as their own Black Blood to combat an opponent. When a meister and weapon synchronize their Souls' wavelength through “Soul Resonance”, they can release highly powerful techniques and, more often than not, change the tide of a battle. When Crona and Ragnarok synchronize, they perform “Scream Resonance”. When initiating the resonance, the mouth that appears on Ragnarok (while weapon form) opens wide and screams out a loud sound wave. This sound wave makes Ragnarok vibrate like an electric saw, increasing his cutting power and can also radiate through the air causing internal damage to an opponent and even other weapons.  Crona’s sword techniques are called “The Three Sword Style”; Screech Beta is a powerful slash in the form of a mouth, Screech Alpha is the same as Screech Beta but launched at the enemy as a projectile with explosive results, Screech Gamma is a multi-slashing attack that releases sound waves when in contact, and Screech Delta is when Crona uses three arms to fire numerous sound waves in all directions. After killing Medusa, Crona has inherited their mothers “Thorn” abilities by combining them with Ragnarok’s abilities. Crona has the ability to manipulate vector-like thorns in combat much like Medusa’s  vector arrows. These Thorn Vectors are so strong that they are able to pull out one of the Moon's teeth and defend from Black Star's Soul Menace, and Maka's Witch-Hunt while wielding her father who the Death Scythe of Lord Death himself. Crona can also move the thorns at incredible speeds, capable of blocking Black Star’s fast shadow attacks. Crona can extend multiple thorny tentacles from the ground and slams them on the ground unleashing a powerful shockwave called “Rose Thorn Storm”.  Thorn Defense Crona summons various thorns in front of them to defend them from frontal attacks. If Crona does manage to bleed and spills around them, Crona can use any of the spilled blood and hardens the droplets, turning them into needles which extend towards the enemy intending to pierce them. This technique is called “Bloody Needle”, it’s meant to surround an opponent and exploiting any available opening, also acts as an effective defense if Crona happens to be unconscious.  Ragnarok can take the form of a dragon extending from Crona's back, complete with two large wings giving them the ability of flight. In this form, Crona's attacks are all enhanced as Crona destroyed the Flying Dutchman's ship; Nidhogg, with just a single blow. Crona doesn’t need Ragnarok to be in weapon form to attack, by slits their wrist’s Crona can create blades and other weapons made of Black Blood. When Crona slits both wrists and swings them in a circle they form “Bloody Lance”, a giant thorn of Black Blood that can act as a projectile. With “Bloody Coat”, Crona forms a wing of Black Blood and folds it over their body for defense. When Crona fuses with the Black Clown; a creature made of Black Blood, Crona gains Maddness Fusion gains some armor from the Black Clown as well as sprout two extra arms. While in this form, Crona can emanate a madness wavelength enough to overwhelm an Anti-Demon Wavelength, this is how Crona defeated Tsar Pushka, the Death Scythe of Eastern Europe. When Crona and the Black Clown preform Maddness Fusion, Crona unleashes they’re most powerful attack; Mad Blood. Mad Blood is when Crona release’s a wave of Black Blood and engulfs the opponent and consumes them with madness, once the opponent is fully consumed it melts them into it and forms into a ball of Black Blood that radiates madness. This attack is strong enough to cover an entire city, and when given the magic tool Brew it can engulf the moon. After absorbing the Kishin Asura, Crona's power and control over Black Blood increased tremendously, their soul wavelength also gives off a form of madness. Crona's madness is the Madness of Boobs (I wish I was kidding…), which represents the lack of motherly attention they got from their mother. This wavelength makes people around them have a large fascination with female breasts. Crona is deadly but unstable, Crona will occasionally hallucinate images of their mother Medusa and panic. Because of the Black Bloods durability, Crona will tends to tank through attacks, rather than avoid them. This isn’t always the best strategy since the Black Blood can break with enough force. Crona is also vulnerable to Soul Wavelength attacks, which will give Crona internal damage and briefly prevents the use of the Black Blood.

 "Do you want to know where the real hell is hiding? It's inside your head."

 Carnage- aka Cletus Kasady and one of Spider-Man’s most dangerous foes. Kasady is a psychotic individual, even when he was a child. When he was young he killed his grandmother by pushing her down a flight of stairs and tortured the family dog. His father was no better as he apparently killed Kasady’s mother and received no defense from Kasady during his trial. Now an orphan, Kasady was sent to the St. Estes Home for Boys, where his antisocial behavior made him a victim of bullying from both the other orphans and the staff. Kasady got revenge by murdering the disciplinarian administration and pushed Manny Calderon, a girl who refused a date with him; in front of a bus and burned down the entire orphanage (Manny was the only survivor and later joined the military). Kasady now an adult was serving eleven consecutive prison terms when one day a criminal in which Spider-Man turned in became his new cell mate: Eddie Brock, aka Venom . Brock however was separated from the alien during a battle with Spider-Man. The Venom symbiote soon snuck into the prison and attempted to free Brock and Brock now Venom pulled off a destructive jailbreak. Unknown to Brock, the alien symbiote was pregnant and gave birth during the disastrous rescue asexually. The symbiote offspring bonded with Kasady by entering a cut on Kasady’s body. Given with powers far beyond the levels of Spider-Man and Venom combined, he made his escape and took on the name “Carnage”, a red symbiote serial killer with an unpredictable killing pattern who would write Carnage next to his victims with his own blood. With the symbiote now part of him in his blood stream, a new Kasady was born. Now on a citywide killing spree, Carnage was later confronted by Spider-Man. However, the web-slingers abilities were nothing close to Carnage and lost the fight. Now in need of help Spider-Man was forced to seek aid from the Fantastic Four and the assistance one of his most dangerous foes: Venom. Even though Venom has great hatred towards Spider-Man, he despises its offspring even more and agreed to help. Facing the combined power of Spider-Man, Venom and the Fantastic Four, Carnage was captured and imprisoned at the Ravencroft Asylum. Even without the symbiote Cletus is still considered very dangerous, as his Antisocial Personality Disorder and obsession with chaos makes him impossible to reason with and kills with no true motive. Carnage's strength and spider-like abilities far exceed from Venom and Spider-Man due to his insanity, he even once dispatched his symbiote through a phone line by reducing the alien to its cellular level. When an army of symbiotes invaded Earth, Carnage learned to feed on other aliens to increase his own mass. Carnage is superhumanly strong, he can lift about 80 tons; this is not his true limit as his strength increases with his size and variable muscle mass. Kasady's musculature generates considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human, allowing him to physically exert himself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before the buildup of fatigue toxins in his bloodstream begins to impair function. Kasady's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that succeed far beyond the natural physical limits of even the greatest human athlete. Carnage’s reflexes are also superhuman, even superior to those of Spider-Man spidey sense. Carnage’s durability is incredible; he can withstand high caliber bullets, great impact forces, powerful energy blasts, and falls from great heights without sustaining significant physical damage. Carnage’s Healing Factor is incredible; able to rapidly regenerate damaged body tissues much faster and more extensively then a normal human, he was even able to regrow his entire body from his severed head after being decapitated by Venom and regrew his head completely in a matter of seconds after being blown off by Alice Gleason. Kasady is also immune to the effects of all Earthly diseases and infections as long as he remains bonded with the symbiote. Just like Spider-Man, Kasady has the ability to cling to virtually any surface and can rapidly crawl, walk, or run across even slickened surfaces. Carnage can project a powerful, organic web-like substance similar to the webbing Spider-Man has to swing from building to building or as a means of immobilizing his foes. The webbing is exceptionally strong, stronger then Spider-Man’s. The symbiote possesses limited shape-shifting abilities in the sense that it can immediately change itself to appear as any type of clothing or garment that Kasady wishes, given him the ability of Camouflage. Carnage can generate tentacle-like appendages from various parts of his body, which he often uses either in combat situations by forming blades or to restrain enemies.  Carnage can morph sections of his body, such as his hands or feet, into bladed weapons such as spikes, blades, or axes. Kasady can also detach these bladed weapons if he chooses to. He often forms spikes that he expels from his body but later disintegrates after being separated from his body after a period of about 30 seconds. Due to the Carnage being a child of the Venom symbiote, Carnage can't be detected by Spider-Man's Spidey-Sense since the Venom got its abilities from Spider-Man. Carnage can even make copies of himself and those copies can possess other people they come in contact with, his copies even possessed most of the Avengers; Captain America, Wolverine, Hawkeye, and even The Thing! He was able to injure Deadpool who is wearing the Phage, Riot and Agony symbiotes which enhanced his durability. Carnage’s powers almost killed Nova and The Wizard, once took over and got the cosmic power from Silver Surfer, and got ripped in half by Sentry and survived falling through the earth’s atmosphere. In Universal Hallowen Horror Nights, Carnage managed to kill every hero who went after him like Spider-Man, Wolverine, Captain America and took over the world. He ripped apart Agent Venom and beat Scarlet Spider in a fight while both teamed up against him. Even without the symbiote Kasady is a survivor, he’s lived through explosions and even had his legs cut off and later replaced with robotic legs. Carnage does have weakness though;  the symbiote is extremely vulnerable to heat and sonic based attacks as it can cause the symbiote great physical pain and discomfort, even without the symbiote Cletus is still a diagnosed psychopath that is obsessed with destruction.
