Layle Vs Kat

Description

In the late 1600’s, Sir Isaac Newton discovered and tried to figure out the laws of gravity. Gravity is the force that attracts a body towards the center of the earth, or towards any other physical body that has mass. It’s what keeps us on the ground walking instead of floating around helplessly. These two have the power to control and manipulate the gravity around them;

Layle, the Clavat Crystal Bearer

Vs

Kat, the Shifter Superhero of Hekseville

But put them together in a battle to the death... who will be victorious?

Gravity Battle!

Layle- a laid back mercenary and the protagonist of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers. Layle was born as a Crystal Bearer; someone who is born with a Crystal shard inside their body that gives them a unique power. Layle’s crystal gave him gravity-based like telekinetic powers. However in this Final Fantasy world Crystal Bearers are treated as freaks like mutants from X-Men and are feared by their great power. However this doesn’t bother Layle as he doesn't try to hide his special powers and uses them to help others along with his friend Keiss. Now to Layle’s Crystal Bearer powers; Layle possesses gravity-based telekinetic powers which allow him to lift, manipulate, and toss enemies and objects. Layle can affect the gravity around himself; he can jump great distances, land safely on his feet after falling from great heights, and to accelerate and strengthen physical movement used for executing fast evasive maneuvers as well as striking his target down with extreme force. When kinetically locked onto a target, Layle can pull himself rapidly using his powers to slingshot himself closer to the target which can also be used to execute an aerial homing body slam. He can also create gravity barriers to defend himself from gunfire and redirect projectiles away from him. Layle can focus his power on himself in order to negate the planet's gravity, allowing him to fly. Layle can also manipulate any form of weaponry such as swords, laser cannons, and rocket launchers just by using his powers and doesn’t have to make contact with it to operate (Though he doesn’t have a main weapon of his own, he just uses what’s around him). When Layle traps a creature with his powers he can force it to execute any special ability it may have, temporarily using the creature as if it were a living weapon (Animal abuse! Lol). Layle’s signature feature is his jacket with an emblem of his Crystal on the back, this jacket is design for defense; made of a golden material with the exception of the chainmail padding on the shoulders. During Layle’s final fight with the games antagonist Jergan who is also a Crystal Bearer they both fell into a crystal reactor which enhanced both their powers and gave them a different form. Layle’s body becomes crystallized and gains the ability to materialize a crystal hover board made out of energy below his feet, which he uses to fly at sonic speed without having to focus his kinetic powers on himself. In this state his Crystal Bearer powers drastically increase, allowing him to rip large turrets off of battleships, destroy previously formidable enemies in a single swipe, and unleash devastating energy charged punches which liberate the highly concentrated energy on impact in the form of huge piercing energy blast. Layle is powerful; he defeated Jergan who was a Crystal Bearer who had the ability to crystalize anything he touches with his right arm and bested him in his new form when enhanced by the Crystal Reactor, defeated Blaze who is also a Clavat Crystal Bearer that can manipulate fire and was once Layle’s teacher and partner before Layle left him, fought toe to toe with the Yuke Amidatelion who had the ability to bend space and summon/warp objects and people anywhere, killed Amidatelion’s Bahamut by ripping its spear tip tail off and used his gravity powers to impale its chest with it, also revived the Yuke Crystal which saved and brought the Yuke tribe back to the world. Layle is unwillingly a ladies man and even though he is level-headed, he is a thrill seeker and his love for excitement often gets him into trouble. Also Layle’s gravity telekinetic powers have a range limit, if the target is too far away he has a hard time trying to control it. But no matter what the job risks are, you can count on Layle to get it done.

“Agents of the light, or children of the dark. In reality, we're neither, nothing special.”

Kat- Shifter of Hekseville and protagonist of Gravity Rush. Kat's origins are unknown (Including her language composed of both French and Latin) since in the begin of her story she is suffering from amnesia and has yet to regain her full memory. She woke up in the floating city of Hekseville in the slum area next a cat who she will befriend and named him Dusty. After she and Dusty saved a child from a raging Gravity Storm, it was discovered that these Gravity Storms and malicious creatures called Nevi had begun to appear around the same time as Kat's awakening and the rise of another gravity shifter by the name of Raven. With Dusty's help, Kat continued to help people in need and gained the trust of the people in the city. People began to regard her as a superhero figure, giving her the title "Gravity Queen”. Kat is a down-to-earth, intelligent, selfless girl who is willing to make personal sacrifices in order to help those in need. Despite having amnesia, she is mostly very upbeat and welcomes the attention and praise of being a superhero. Kat is born as what people call a Shifter; someone who can shift gravity in different directions thanks to an animal-shaped being which resembles a night sky due to their starry black skin. So in other words, Dusty is the source of Kat’s ability to shift gravity and without Dusty Kat can’t use her powers. But Kat isn’t all that helpless, when she doesn’t use her powers she can take out foes with a strong series of deadly kick’s and possesses some degree of invulnerability. She has repeatedly been shown to survive falling from heights that would injure or kill an ordinary person, along with resisting Nevi attacks to an extent. As a shifter, Kat has several gravity powers available at her disposal. Her common ability is to shift gravity in any speed or direction to float and fall accordingly. Other abilities include flying, lifting and throwing objects, and being able to walk on any vertical surface.  She can perform physical attacks by combining with her gravity manipulation to perform a gravity kick by making her target the center of her gravity, and gravity slide by removing the friction on her feet. Kat has several special powers at her disposal as well; including attacks like Spiraling Claw, Gravity Typhoon and Micro Black Hole. Spiraling Claw is when Kat spins and drills through enemies literally ripping through them, Gravity Typhoon is when Kat summons spikes around her and hurls a barrage of them at her foes, and Micro Black Hole is when Kat becomes a moving mini black hole and pulls in and destroys everything within the area. In Playstation All Stars Battle Royale, Kat’s level 3 special is Gravity Panther where Dusty fuse’s with Kat and Kat attacks with giant black claws and also creates a black hole that takes out any enemy that makes contact. In Kat’s upcoming sequel Gravity Rush 2, Kat somehow gains a new wrist and leg armor that allows her to teleport in short distances and can create a mini earthquake by kick slamming into the ground. She also learns two new fighting styles; Lunar and Jupiter Style. In Lunar style the force of gravity is reduced making Kat lighter and quicker, Jupiter style gravity is increased, which slow's down Kat’s movements but making her more powerful. Kat is strong enough to fight people like Raiden from Metal Gear, Kratos from God of War, Cole MacGrath from Infamous, and the former mascot for the PlayStation One entertainment system now an embodiment of power Polygon Man (Basically the Sony version of Master Hand). She’s defeated waves of Nevi, saved Hekseville from the malfunctioning destructive weapon the Sea Anemone, and has fought and defeated the other Shifter Raven twice. Kat also has her weaknesses, without Dusty she can’t use her gravity powers and there is a time limit for Kat's ability to fly. If Dusty becomes sick for any reason, the time limit for flight becomes even shorter. Although a superhero, Kat is also somewhat inexperienced and can be easily deceived like when she was tricked by Alias disguised as a cop who told her to steal the Sacred Gem protecting Auldnoir. Kat’s heroic and selfless but powerful, don’t mess with her.

"I haven't changed, Gade. I'm the same girl I was before I left. Well... maybe I've changed a little. But my heart hasn't. If anything, I'm just going to be that much better at protecting everyone!"

Who do you think will win?

Layle belongs to Square Enix

Kat belongs to SCE Japan Studio

I will say Layle but it won't be an easy fight. Considering that their both gravity users I can see them canceling each other out form time to time. I say Layle because of experience and some form of training, but again I don't see Kat going down easy.
An better battle might have been Layle vs Gravation.
