Ultimate Super Hero Showdown!

Superman- The Last Son of Krypton and one of DC Comics most powerful superhero. The planet Krypton was on the brink of destruction, so in order to save their unborn son Kal-El married scientists Jor-El and Lara Lor-Van built a rocket to send Kal to a safe planet with life. His parents before they died as well as the rest of Krypton, sent him to Earth where exposure to the yellow sunlight would charge his cells into living solar batteries and gifting him with incredible powers. Kal-El successfully landed on Earth and was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent in Smallville, Kansas. The kindly couple decided they would adopt and raise him, naming their newest member of the family Clark Kent. As Clark aged, his Kryptonian abilities increased steadily as he grew up, with super-strength and invulnerability at an early age and the power of flight developing during his years at high school. His adopted parents revealed the rocket and his foreign heritage to their son when he was 18 years old, leading Clark to the decision that he would become a hero in secret and use his powers to protect innocents. After graduating college in two years and traveling the world as a secret superhero, Clark moved to the city of Metropolis as an investigative reporter for the Daily Planet and donned the red and blue to publicly announce his presence as the Superman, Defender of Metropolis. As a Kryptonian, his cells function like a super battery, hyper metabolizing specific wavelengths of radiation as fuel to enable living functions and/or superhuman abilities. Every time Superman uses any of his superhuman abilities, his body expends absorbed sunlight and he is capable of utilizing any of them to various degrees through controlled circumstances. The exact limits of Superman's strength is unknown; his punches in mid-fight tear up a planet, after spending 15 minutes in the sun he moves a Solar System with his bare hands, in a fight with Earth-2 Superman they tore up the fabric of space and time with each punch exchanged, lifted the Spectre with Wonder Woman who weight is eternal, lift the book of Infinite Pages with Shazam, with the Infinite Mass Punch he can he up to 10 octillion megatons, and can lift 200 Quintillion Tons! His speed can match the Flash who is fast enough to jump through dimensions, rebuilt an entire city faster than light, can move so fast his molecules vibrate allowing him to phase through objects and even turn invisible, he flew to the Vega System and Earth in seconds and Vega is lightyears away, and when flying to rescue his cousin Supergirl in space Superman tore holes through dimensions due to his speed alone! If you think his speed and strength are god like, his durability is off the charts as well; during a fight he got hit from America to Europe and it did barely anything to him, tanked a supernova created by Brainiac and survived, held a black hole with his bare hands and not effected by it, tanked a magical hit from the Claw of Horus which is a magical weapon that destroys planets, survived through a Big Bang like attack, and tanked an explosive force similar to 100 exploding galaxies. One of Superman’s iconic abilities is his heat vision, capable of matching zero temperatures and the heat of the sun, said to be even hotter than hell itself and can burn through Kryptonian skin and can melt a freakin planet! On the opposite spectrum, he has his freeze breath as he can shoot from a blizzard wind to freeze bullets at high speeds, he once flash frozen Wonder Woman and Bizarro. He can also has hurricane wind breath, shoot powerful gusts of wind. Superman’s senses have also been heightened, he can see in Micro-vision, Telescopic Vision, X-Ray Vision, the Electromagnetic Spectrum, can see your soul somehow, and Thermal Vision and can hear a call for help in another solar system. He can think and memorize at a superhuman level, he can absorb information by just skimming, calculated the melting point of Shrapnel in his head and is immune to telepathic attacks thanks to training with Martian Manhunter. He also knows two Kryptonian martial arts; Torquasm Vo and Torquasm Rao. Torquasm Vo is a mental martial art where Superman can fight off telepathic attacks and illusions. Torquasm Rao is a martial art in which Superman enters the theta state, a phenomenon in which a person becomes extremely receptive to information and instinct. He’s trained in pressure points with Batman, hand to hand combat with Wonder Woman, and Boxing with Wildcat. Superman doesn’t even need to eat or breath oxygen, he can just survive on the suns radiation alone. In recent years Superman gained the ability called the Super Flare, which he releases all the solar energy stored in his body with him basically turning into a solar bomb, but afterwards he can’t use any of his abilities for the next 24 hours so he only uses it as a last resort. This powerful Kryptonian still has quite a feat list despite his abilities mentioned; he stopped an F5 tornado with a single clap, fought a war in Valhalla against demons with Wonder Woman and Thor for a THOUSAND years!, wiped out an army of imperfect Doomsday clones in 1 blast, fell around the world in the opposite direction of the Earth’s rotation so fast he went back in time, the only being on Earth that can restrain Wonder Woman, broke through time and space just to punch Death in the face, is the leader and symbol of the Justice League, and in multiply alternate universes has ruled and took control of the world. So what the actual hell can beat this guy?! While surprisingly a few things; When Superman takes a hit, his solar energy can be depleted over the course of a fight if he takes too many blows or remains out of the sunlight for too long. Superman is vulnerable to Kryptonite, a crystalline like substance that releases a radioactive wavelength that is lethal to Kryptonians, Green Kryptonite directly is poisonous to him and if exposed too long will kill him. He’s also vulnerable to chi and magical attacks, so someone like Zatanna who uses magic could beat Superman in a fight. Also, as powerful as Superman is, he spends more time defending Metropolis then improving his abilities. He also has strong moral of Justice, he rather defend and fight for the innocent and helpless than fighting for himself which villains have constantly used on him. Superman also can’t see through lead and because of his super hearing he is vulnerable to sound based attacks. But remove the morality and honor, you better watch out.

“Batman won't quit as long as he can still draw a breath, none of my team mates will. Me? I got a different problem. I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard, always taking care not to break something, to break someone, never allowing myself to lose control even for a moment or someone could die. But you can take it can’t you big man? What we have here is a rare opportunity for me to cut lose, and show you just how powerful I really am!”

Saitama- the Superhero parody known as One Punch Man. On an Earth-like super-continent planet, strange monsters have been mysteriously appearing and causing disasters resulting in the rise of superheroes to combat them alongside the local supervillains. Saitama is the strongest hero alive in the entire franchise, hailing from the metropolis of City Z who easily defeats monsters or other villains with a single punch to the point where they just explode when struck. Saitama’s origin though is a little odd from most superhero origins you hear; he was once just a regular guy just trying to get his life together until he ran into a crab monster that was looking for a child to kill. Saitama later found the kid and he defeated a crab-like monster and decided to train to become a superhero, dreaming to so powerful he’d defeat his enemies with just one punch. His training regimen consisted of 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats and a 10 km run every single day, while also refusing to use the air conditioning and heat to strengthen his mind. As stupid as this sounds, his hard work paid off as to one morning he woke up bald and gained the power to end enemies with a single punch like he always dreamed. Even though he became a superhero as 3 years went by, Saitama started to face an existential crisis of perpetual boredom due to his immeasurable strength keeping him from finding a challenge. His strength causes him to become increasingly emotionless, but begins to discover different uses for his power after meeting the cyborg Genos and joining the Hero Association. As a hero, Saitama does not seek recognition or public acceptance, he states that his sole reason for being a hero is simply for fun, and often acts in a way that damages his reputation for the sake of saving the reputation of others. Despite his apathetic demeanour and plain appearance, his underlying charisma and sense of justice, coupled with his unfathomable power, have caused several higher ranking heroes in the association to take an interest in Saitama, with a few even making a point to befriend him. Saitama is the strongest character in the series, so far no enemy has been able to injure him in any way and almost no enemy is even able to survive from a single punch from him. Saitama possesses seemingly limitless physical strength and he is capable of effortlessly defeating powerful monsters and villains with a single, nonchalant punch. Saitama's punch is so powerful that many enemies simply explode when struck, even powerful enough to destroy a city sized meteor. A "normal" punch from him is shown to be very fatal to someone as durable as Boros, one of the most powerful antagonist in the series so far. Consecutive Normal Punches is a volley of quick, single-handed punches from his right hand, shown to be powerful enough to blow strong or large body types apart in an instant. Two Handed Consecutive Normal Punches is the same thing but with both hands and is twice as fast. A single "serious" punch is able to somehow counter Boros destructive energy beam attack and even split the freakin sky in half along the whole planet effortlessly and Saitama was still holding back, he punched a laser back at the dude! Saitama can harm intangible beings such as Evil Natural Water, a monster made of simply water but Saitama punched it and turned it into droplets. His inability to fly is somewhat compensated by his ability to use his immense strength to leap tremendous heights and distances, the best example of how powerful his leap is is when he leapt from the surface of the moon and ended up back on Earth at a specified point in mere moments. Saitama demonstrates immense speed and reflexes; he completed a 1500 meter dash in an instant, he effortlessly keep up with Speed-o'-Sound Sonic who is able to move at above hypersonic speeds, he can outpace the likes of Flashy Flash who is an S-Class hero who can move and land multiple sword attacks in centiseconds; exactly a one hundredth of a second, yet he still has problems squishing a simple mosquito… Saitama is so fast that he leaves afterimages when moving at high speeds, tricking enemies that they are attack his afterimage instead of Saitama himself. Saitama’s dexterity makes him capable of moving any of his limbs at extremely fast speeds without even flinching, not stopping until his target is completely obliterated. Saitama has demonstrated to be perfect at dodging or catching attacks without even realizing that he's being attacked, like a sixth sense, Saitama's reflexes render him flexible enough to move through the narrowest creeks and dodge attacks even at close range. Saitama’s Stamina is immeasurable, never been shown to tire out when fighting villains even when unleashing a punch more powerful than a planet-destroying attack, still shows no signs of fatigue. His senses have been enhanced as he is also able to see in the dark as he could spot a kid from a great distance away during the night. His tracking capability is also astonishing, as he can concentrate on a fast-moving object for a long time and still not lose sight of it. Saitama can withstand blows from extremely powerful beings such as Carnage Kabuto without taking a scratch or feeling any pain, even remaining unharmed by Genos flame blast but his clothes were burnt. He survived being kicked to the moon by Boros in his fully powered state and going from the Earth to the moon and back with little to no damage from leaving and entering the Earth's atmosphere, further showing he even survive the sub-zero conditions of outer space. His greatest trait is not his punch, but his immeasurable willpower.  Through sheer willpower and effort during his training, he removed his natural limiter is immune to pain. As if you couldn’t tell, this guy is crazy strong; he survived the effects of a black hole stating he did not even feel anything happening to him, is immune to pressure-based attacks on energy points, in outer space Saitama manages to hold his breath effortlessly and made a jump back to the Earth to the Moon in seconds without showing any signs of suffocation or symptoms, is immune to all types of heat-based attacks, in fact, he is immune to heat energy overall even upon atmospheric re-entry, can kick back fast giant cannon shells in midair without losing altitude, he even once dig his fingers into the ground and flips a large amount of landmass thousands of meters into the air! What can stop this guy?! Well because of his immense power, he is alienated due to lack of a challenge (except for today!). But a key point is that most of Saitama's attacks are wasted since he doesn’t actually know any fighting and martial arts, he has no actual fighting skill. Also an important note, while he jumped from the Moon back to Earth he still had to hold his breath, while he can certainly hold his breath for a very long time this shows even though he’s not effected by the zero temperatures of space he still needs oxygen. He may be bald and at times emotionless, but he is perhaps the most badass Shonen character of all time!

I don't know why some people below are saying superman would win. Unless you forgot, Saitama has god-like strength that exceeds even superman's, and on top of that, Saitama's body is indestructible, there is literally NOTHING the man of steel could do that would even scratch Saitama.

Sorry, but the one punch man takes it, easily.
